As an independent laboratory, MicroPro GmbH prepares scientific studies to assess microbiological processes and their effects in the natural environment and in technical systems.
This includes the following areas:
- Environmental studies to record the current situation before interventions in natural areas and follow-up investigations (environmental monitoring)
- Assessment of microbiological processes in landfills, as well as in underground layers and structures
- Microbiological risk assessment of fracking activities
- Study on the influence of biogas and hydrogen on underground storage facilities
- Assessment of microbial colonization of technical facilities
