The aim is to establish a process for the conversion of regene\u00adrative carbon dioxide and (electro\u00adlysis) hydrogen to methane by means of biolo\u00adgical metha\u00adnation in the bubble column. By using a new type of gas injection system as the efficiency-determining component of this process, the aim is to produce methane (&gt; 95% by volume) that can be fed into the grid. Molecular biolo\u00adgical monitoring of the system-relevant micro\u00ador\u00adga\u00adnisms and optimization of the condi\u00adtions for the perfor\u00admance cultures by MicroPro should ensure a stable process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The research project has a planned duration of three years. The project partners are DBI Gas- und Umwelt\u00adtechnik GmbH (Freiberg), Fraun\u00adhofer Institute for Ceramic Techno\u00adlogies and Systems (IKTS, Dresden), MicroPro GmbH (Gommern) and \u00d6kotec Biogas Gesell\u00adschaft mbH&amp;Co.KG, Thallwitz.
